Hard Lavender Lemonade, Easy Summer Saturday
I remember the first time my mom introduced me to the smell of lavender. It was pungent, strong, and medicinal. I hated it. I was 25, only accustomed to the sweet, light scent of cucumber melon. But over time, I learned to embrace and love lavender as a sweet fragrance used for healing, relaxation, annnnd cocktails!
For the past three years, I’ve attended the Lavender Festival in Cherry Valley, CA. Recently, it’s been transformed into a magical enchanted forest filled with charming little shops, delicious food, coffee, sweet treats, and over 10,000 twinkling lights in the trees. But my all-time favorite part? The mouthwatering lavender-infused cocktails.
When I approached the bar, I asked for a simple glass of Prosecco. The bartender suggested something that was just the icing on the cake of our entire experience. Now, I’m going to share that delightful recipe with you. Enjoy!
Sunset Lavender Prosecco
1 glass Prosecco
1 oz Vodka
1 teaspoon Lavender Syrup
Freshly squeezed lemon juice
Add a lavender sprig
Enjoy at sunset poolside with friends. It’s my summer go-to.
